Dr. rOBIN hOOVER

Dr. Robin Hoover’s life experience focuses on human rights activism, border ministry, border research, public policy, and public discourse.  He appears in many border and immigration related documentary films.  His manuscript addressing immigration issues is in the process of publication by Texas Tech University Institute for Studies in Pragmaticism.  His life’s work is archived in the University of Arizona Special Collections Library. 

​His speaking engagements on university campuses include all day availability.  He will typically schedule presentations in multiple classrooms, a lunch gathering with students, and a public lecture with Q&A in the evening.  Topics include Humanitarian Assistance, Human Rights, Migration Policies, Immigration Law, Immigration Reform.  Classes he has spoken to include political science, international relations, sociology, government, history, anthropology, economics, law enforcement, law administration, public health, public administration, Mexican-American studies, Latin-American studies, Spanish,religious studies, ethics.
